Only 40 electric scooters were sold in 2007, Haim Karu - Importer of the electric sccoters in israel says that he aims to sell 1000 units in 2008. The cost for an everage E-scooter is 10000 NIS (like a 50cc scooters), they can Go 40 Km per charge.
The main benefits are:
- Quiet and gives you a joyfull ride
- Cost per Km is 0.04 nis (a full 4 hr ride cost 1.6 nis) a regular scooter cost 0.18 nis per Km.
